Becky is an award-winning designer with decades of experience in fine arts and the fashion industry. With Others New York, she is combining her assured style with her skills as a maker, to create objects that will inspire and delight their handlers and audience.

Becky Shim Paguia studied Visual Arts at Rice University with a concentration in sculpture and installation. She then moved from Houston, Texas to New York City and pursued fashion styling before going back to school for accessory design at Cordwainer’s - London College of Fashion. After ten plus years working as an accessory designer and design consultant and then a hiatus to start a family, Becky is returning to her first love of creating with her hands.

Combining her appreciation for unexpected quirks in design, a bit of whimsy, fantasy and biographical context (Korean-American, fashion fiend, vocational hostess)- Becky creates objects she hopes will bring delight and be cherished by their owners for years to come.
